About Rafat Mohamed

Finance, operations, and technology executive with 14+ years inside cold-chain logistics, healthcare insurance, consumer goods, and multi-unit retail. I started Fintech Integration to bring that operator experience to growing companies.

Why I do this work

Growing companies tend to hit the same wall. The business gets more complex faster than its systems and reporting, and leadership ends up making growth decisions on numbers nobody fully trusts. I've been the person responsible for fixing that from the inside, and I've seen what it costs when it isn't fixed.

I work best with owners and executives who want someone to own the problem, not hand them a slide deck. I earn trust with the people closest to the work first, because they know where the numbers break.

Experience

Multi-unit franchise operations

Senior Director of Operations and board advisor for a 30+ location national franchise brand, with full P&L ownership. Owned franchise operations, supply chain, vendor management, and the technology stack, including NetSuite, Toast POS, a mobile ordering and loyalty app, and Power BI reporting. Advised the company for about four years before that, starting with its first ERP.

Lineage Logistics

Senior Finance Manager, Global Technology, at the world's largest cold storage company. Directed a $250M+ annual technology budget as the primary finance partner to IT through the 2024 IPO, presented a $500M+ capital model to the board, led IT finance for 30+ acquisitions, and remediated cost accounting to eliminate material weakness risk before the IPO.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan

Product performance and data roles. Built the P&L for a consumer-directed health product, built a national network coverage model for investment decisions, and drove a wellness pricing redesign that saved $500K+.

Alex Brands and Masco Cabinetry

Consumer products finance and pricing. Finance lead on an Oracle ERP implementation, final pricing approver on $120M in sales to major retailers, and customer profitability work that eliminated $20M+ in loss-making sales.
